The Foundation

Since our inception in 1983, our mission at the Meaford Hospital Foundation has been to inspire the communities of Meaford, the Town of the Blue Mountains, and surrounding areas to invest in their healthcare. With community support, we enhance the delivery of high-quality healthcare by raising funds for such things as vital medical equipment, technological advancements, research and innovation, and infrastructural improvements. Furthermore, we adopt a regional approach, actively contributing to the development of innovative healthcare solutions through our relationship with Brightshores Health System and our sister foundations that serve the broader population of Grey and Bruce counties.

The Foundation is governed by an elected Board of Directors, all of whom are community volunteers and are here to serve you.

Executive Director, Meaford Hospital Foundation

As the Executive Director of the Meaford Hospital Foundation, I am honored to be part of a team committed to supporting our community and ensuring that Brightshores Meaford remains a vital resource for the health and well-being of all who rely on it. As well, being a resident of Meaford, and having used the services at the hospital, my wife and I know how important having a hospital in our community is.
Throughout the year, our staff and board work tirelessly to engage with our generous supporters who have, and are, making a difference in the quality of healthcare delivery in our region.

As we move forward, we remain focused on our goal of putting the best tools in the hands of the best people, so everyone, can receive the best possible care.
