The Kinsmen Club of Meaford were able to donate $2,000 to the Meaford Hospital Foundation from the proceeds of their Winter Escape Lottery. With the strong support of their sponsors, a Sleigh Ride package for up to 12 people was donated by Jack Lambe. The wooden sleigh was made and donated by Tony Weldrick of T Squared, and a sleigh full of munchies and treats was provided by Bill’s ValuMart.

The club sold 800 tickets with local merchants such as The Kitchen, Clear Choice Pools and Spas and Meaford Chamber of Commerce acting as sales points. They also held sales drives at Bill’s ValuMart on several occasions and the sleigh was on display at the store through most of the time of the lottery. The proceeds were divided evenly between the Meaford Hospital Fund and Safe N Sound.

Many thanks to the Kinsmen Club of Meaford for their continued support of our Meaford hospital and our Foundation.
