Our very own – Bernadette Mervyn, Brightshores Meaford Hospital’s Site Manager, this in addition to being an emergency room nurse!
Working at Meaford Hospital for over 12 years, Bernie has seen many changes and challenges within our community healthcare system. Her role in patient care and overseeing a host of administrative decisions at the hospital is only half of her incredible journey. Bernie will also share her personal story of raising a son with a disability and its triumphs and challenges.

While building their small, organic farm in Meaford, Megan and her husband Bren created a delicious recipe for a soda pop with ingredients to improve digestive health all while being good for their family! Megan and Bren appeared on Dragon’s Den and secured a national deal to distribute Gingerbug Fermented Ginger Beer! From humble beginnings in farmers’ markets and small local retailers, to now popping up in national grocery chains!
