Bring your family, friends, co-workers – walk or run this long standing event in support of The Meaford Hospital Foundation.
Race Kit Pickup!
Come to the Farmer’s Market at the Harbour between 4 and 7 p.m. on Friday, July 10th to pick up your race kit and avoid the mayhem of race day morning. We will hand out bibs, shirts and swag as well as accept new registrations. Of course, we will still do kit pick up and new registrations on race day morning from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m.
Start Time Information
We have changed the time for the Walkers to start 2 minutes after the Runners. This is for the safety of all and to avoid start line congestion. The Run will start at 9:00 a.m. and the Walk will start at 9:02. We ask all Walkers to keep clear of the start area until after the Runners have left.
Walk Don’t Run
This is a timed event with awards to the top finishers. If you are registered as a Walker, you cannot run at any time during the event. It is not fair to others who abide by the rules and walk the entire course.
Again this year we have timing chips affixed to the bib.
Sykes Street will be closed for a short time to allow the front runners to use the road. Slower runners and all walkers are requested to use the sidewalk along Sykes Street to allow the highway to re-open as soon as possible. There will be course marshals at the intersections for your safety and guidance, please follow their directions.
With a record number of 525 participants in 2018 we are encouraging everyone to participate again this year. Please bring along your friends, neighbours and family to help us break another record.
All proceeds raised from this event support Mental Health Services at our area hospitals.
